Carpet Cleaning in Whiston

How it works

This is where we are based, so Whiston gets the short-notice slots

Our van is parked a few streets from most of the jobs we do here, which matters more for scheduling than anything else: Whiston is where we can usually fit someone in at short notice. The housing runs from older stock near the village to newer estates out towards the hospital, and the newer builds tend to have lighter carpet in bigger rooms, which shows every mark and cleans up well.

The clean itself runs in stages. We vacuum thoroughly before any moisture goes down, which lifts dry soil that domestic vacuums leave behind in the pile. A pre-spray loosens what is bonded to the fibre, a counter-rotating brush works it through, and extraction takes it away. Air movers cut the drying time, and you choose the fragrance we finish with.

Common questions

Carpet cleaning in Whiston: common questions

How long does a carpet take to dry?

Most carpets are dry to walk on within 4–6 hours, and fully dry within 24 hours depending on room ventilation.

In most cases, yes. Deep-set or repeated contamination may need a separate pet treatment — we’ll always inspect and tell you honestly before quoting.

Whiston is where we are based, so there is obviously no travel charge, and it is usually the first place we can fit someone in at short notice.

We cover L35, along with Prescot, Rainhill, Huyton and Cronton. If you are just outside that and not sure, send us the postcode and we will tell you straight away rather than leave you guessing.

Public liability on its own does not cover damage to the thing being cleaned. Our policy adds treatment risk and damage to property worked upon, up to £2 million, which is the cover that actually applies if a carpet or a sofa is damaged during a clean.

It is worth asking any carpet cleaner for that specifically. Plenty carry public liability alone and still describe themselves as fully insured, and the difference only shows up at the point you need it.

Yes, and they are worth doing at the same time. Stairs take the whole household’s weight on a very small area, so they are almost always the most worn carpet in the house.

Cleaning the rooms and leaving the stairs tends to make the stairs look worse by comparison. They are quoted as their own item, so you can see exactly what they add before you decide.
