Pet Stains & Odours

Targeted treatment for pet mess, honestly assessed.

Urine, vomit, blood and other pet mishaps need more than a surface clean. We treat the source of the odour, not just what’s visible — and tell you straight if contamination goes deeper than a standard clean can reach.

How it works

Treating the source, not just the surface

Pet accidents soak below the visible surface — into the underlay, backing or foam — which is why standard cleaning alone often leaves a lingering smell. We identify how far contamination has spread before treating it.

Our process uses enzyme-based treatments that break down the source of the odour, rather than masking it with fragrance. Where staining is old or has set into the sub-layer, we’ll always say so upfront.

Not every stain is fully reversible. Where contamination has gone deep or been repeated over time, we’ll give you an honest outcome expectation before quoting, rather than promising a result we can’t guarantee.

Common questions

Pet stain & odour FAQs

Can you fully remove old pet stains?

Often, yes — but not always. If urine has soaked into the underlay or sub-floor over time, some staining or odour may remain. We’ll check with UV light and tell you honestly before quoting.

No. Our enzyme treatment breaks down the organic matter causing the odour, rather than covering it up — which is why it holds up over time rather than smelling fresh for a day.

Yes — pet treatment is commonly booked alongside a standard carpet or upholstery clean, and is often cheaper combined than booked separately.

We’ll flag this during inspection. In some cases the underlay itself may need replacing for the odour to fully clear — we’ll always explain this before starting any work.

Public liability on its own does not cover damage to the thing being cleaned. Our policy adds treatment risk and damage to property worked upon, up to £2 million, which is the cover that actually applies if a carpet or a sofa is damaged during a clean.

It is worth asking any carpet cleaner for that specifically. Plenty carry public liability alone and still describe themselves as fully insured, and the difference only shows up at the point you need it.
