Upholstery Cleaning

Fabric cleaning that respects the material underneath.

Professional cleaning for sofas, armchairs and dining chairs — matched to the fabric, not a one-size-fits-all treatment, with a photo-backed report so you can see the difference.

How it works

A method matched to the fabric

Sofas, armchairs and dining chairs are made from very different materials: cotton, linen, velvet and synthetic blends all behave differently once they are wet. We test and identify the fabric before any product touches it.

Our process combines low-moisture pre-treatment with targeted extraction, so cushions and frames are not left over-wet or at risk of shrinking, colour bleed or watermarking.

We clean fabric upholstery only. Leather needs different products and different training, and it is not something we are set up for, so we will tell you straight rather than take the job and hope.

Upholstery cleaning FAQs

Is my fabric safe to clean?

We test every fabric before treatment. Most cotton, synthetic and blended fabrics clean well — delicate or unknown fabrics are always spot-tested first, and we’ll flag any risk before starting.

Our low-moisture method typically leaves upholstery dry to the touch within 2–4 hours, and fully dry within 24 hours depending on fabric and ventilation.

No, and we would rather say so up front than take the booking and hope for the best. Leather needs different products and different training from fabric, and we are not set up for it.

Fabric upholstery of almost any kind we can help with. If you have a leather suite, you want somebody who does only that.

Yes — every job includes a matching before/after photo report as standard, with no extra charge.

Public liability on its own does not cover damage to the thing being cleaned. Our policy adds treatment risk and damage to property worked upon, up to £2 million, which is the cover that actually applies if a carpet or a sofa is damaged during a clean.

It is worth asking any carpet cleaner for that specifically. Plenty carry public liability alone and still describe themselves as fully insured, and the difference only shows up at the point you need it.
